Contribute to the healthy development of people’s minds and bodies and the development of society by creating opportunities for nurturing imagination and healthy communication through drones.

JDFA Objectives

  • Dissemination of drones and drone fights
  • Establishment of various competition events, organization of athlete teams, and promotion of participation in various competitions
  • Holding of the All-Japan Drone Fight Championship and World Championship
  • Training of athletes, coaches, and referees
  • Registration of athletes, teams, coaches, referees, etc.
  • Management of intellectual property and trademark provision
  • Implementation of social and international contributions

March 2019 Patent application filed for “Balloon Busters.”
July 3, 2019 Won the project presentation battle surpassing “Unko Museum,” secured prizes worth 1.5 million yen.
August 10, 2019 First “Balloon Busters” battle tournament held.
October 2, 2019 Balloon Busters Inc. established.
November 30, 2019 Second “Balloon Busters” battle tournament held.
December 10, 2019 Appearance on Kawasaki FM radio.
February 6, 2020 Third “Balloon Busters” battle tournament held.
February 12, 2020 Yokohama idol group “Ponika Road” becomes the official supporter of drone fight.
June 25, 2020 TOKYO MX’s “Tokyo Denpa Girls 2nd” features Thelma Aoyama’s team vs. Akarui Yasumura’s team.
August 5, 2020 Fourth “Balloon Busters” battle tournament held.
March 1, 2021 Name changed to “Drone Fight,” Japan Drone Fight Association established as a general incorporated association.
March 29, 2021 Trademark application filed for “Drone Fight.”
Autumn 2022 National tournament scheduled.
2024 World tournament scheduled.
